SUMMER RAIN: A now yearly tradition - doing art work for this event - that is. I can't make it myself this year but what's stopping you? A minor fleet of great bands are playing as well as great people hanging out on deck. Also; you'll probably catch a part of the design on tee's if you'll make it. Happy midsummer to you all and be sure to watch out for bottles falling!
NORWEGIAN WRESTLING: Poster for the 67:th Gear Club night. Norwegian band Los Plantronics have a lot of mexican influences and the mission was to make these too ends meet. The same night Sexpistolstanten & Mockfjärdsvapnet also gave the Stockholm hipster scene what they need the most right now: hits like "Enda dan hittills jag inte velat dö".
PUSH MY BUTTONS: Illustration for the long awaited opening of the Push my Buttons online store. With two strong characters like Lotta and Thomas running the place it felt impossible to not make them holding the sign like a siamese twin. Enough talking, of you go, next stop on your shopping tour must be: pushmybuttons.se
MEMORY OF BIRTH: Illustrations published in the seventh issue of the american magazine Annalemma. This issue features words and illustratons by writers/artists such as Joe Meno, Zora Neale Hurston, Sasha Fletcher, Jesse Hlebo and Sam Brewster. The illustrations was to accompany the great text Memory of Birth by Carl Fuerst. Get your subscription at Annalemma.net.
GEARCLUB # 66: Flight Reaction team up with Australian act Naked on the Vague and Holy Hoofbeats for this Gearclub night. Since they all have a connection with space or planes I went for the "aeronautical look".
IMPO AND THE TENTS: Poster for this Stockholm three-piece European Tour. The name offers so many options. But a great band making great music deserves something special. Something only a flipped Warhol banana could offer.
MOTHER LOVE: Illustration for the short story Mother Love written by Jeanne Holtzman. The illustration was published by Annalemma Magazines online edition. Annalemma is a literary/arts journal printed biannually since 2007. They are one of the most exiting American forums for new litterature at the moment, so don't just sitt on your arse, get your own subscription today and while your at it read the story Mother Love here.
WHOLE LOTTA MIDSOMMAR: The country of Sweden has it's traditions. Amongs the finest ones is this event on midsummer every year. A rock festival located on a boat in central Stockholm. Gathering some of the best bands active today. Get involved at myspace.
GEARCLUB # 65: Slammers where a band befour most of you kids could spell the word "guitar" (wich by the way is hard to spell since it's spelled "gitarr" in Swedish). And now, after 19 years of rest, they are back on stage. Happy birthday so to speak!
PUSH MY BUTTONS: Who invented the guitarr? Who took the first cord? Who sang the first tune? You might not know the answer to that but in years to come you will probably say that this company where the ones who reinvented punk. They will define the future of crap culture and anyone affiliated should be proud to be a part of it. Keep that in mind.
GEARCLUB #63: Dollhouse (Sweden) and Miss Chain and the Broken Heels (Italy). Ever felt like jumping out of a window? Ever felt like jumping out of a window of a dollhouse?
This poster was picked among the Top Posters of the Week by the fine folks at gigposters.com.
THE MINDS: The Minds, from Portland, Oregon, sadly don't exists any more. Most likely this was the last relase from the band. In a limited edition of 300 copies on black vinyl you'll find 3 great tracks on Plastic Idol Records. Members from this band can now be found in other great acts from the Pacific Northwest such as the Flip-Tops, Nix and Defect Defect.

GEARCLUB # 62: Hangee V from Cagliari, Sardegna in Italy headlining on Swedish ground. Famous for great gigs and great taste in instruments this is how I figure they make there way to the stage. For more info visit gearfest.com.

GEARCLUB #61: The Sign. Finaly. Don't be late to the first Gearclub in 2010. This poster was also mentioned as Top Poster at gigposters.com.
GEAR CLUB #59: Poster for the monthly event Gear Club in Stockholm hosted by Thomas Savage of Savage magazine and records.

THE START FOR ME: Another cover for the Manikins on Plastic Idol Records, this time in b/w. A lettering I tried to put on many sleaves but never got to work. For this one it came out just like I wanted it. The 7" features two exclusive tunes from the Corocodiles sessions.
